1.5 Million Units and Counting: The Measured Influence of Shelly Williamson Esnard, PA-C.
In an industry often driven by trends, Shelly Williamson Esnard, PA-C is defined by experience.
As of 2025, the Baton Rouge–based injector has administered more than 1.5 million units of Botox® — a milestone that places her among the most experienced injectors in the United States. As Partner and Center Director of Williamson Cosmetic Center & Perenack Aesthetic Surgery, Esnard has built her reputation on anatomical precision, refined technique, and results that prioritize natural, elegant rejuvenation. The delivery of 1.5 million units represents far more that a numerical achievement – it reflects decades of disciplined practice, patient trust, and clinical mastery.
That consistency has translated into institutional recognition. Williamson Cosmetic Center & Perenack Aesthetic Surgery is designated a Top 50 national account for Allergan, the manufacturer of Botox® Cosmetic, Juvéderm®, DiamondGlow®, CoolSculpting®, CoolTone®, and SkinMedica®. This distinction places the practice among the most elite aesthetic centers in the country, reflecting exceptional treatment volume alongside rigorous clinical standards.
Esnard’s influence extends beyond her own treatment rooms. Since 2007, she has served as a national faculty trainer for Allergan, educating physicians and advanced injectors across the United States in sophisticated injection techniques, safety protocols, and complication management. Her instruction is rooted in a depth of real-world experience, rarely matched in the field - shaped by personally administering more than 1.5 million units.
Medicine has long been central to her foundation. Esnard was born into the Williamson medical family, founders of Williamson Eye Center, a longstanding name in Southern healthcare for decades. She has carried forward that tradition of clinical rigor and patient-first care into the field of aesthetic medicine, helping elevate standards beyond the conventional medical spa model.
Under her leadership, Williamson Cosmetic Center & Perenack Aesthetic Surgery has evolved into a multi-location aesthetic recognized for advanced technology, comprehensive treatment offerings, and structured clinical training. Drawing on that operational experience, Esnard founded The Aesthetics Platform (TAP), a consulting and educational initiative designed to help aesthetic practices strengthen both clinical protocols and business infrastructure.
Esnard graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport in 2001 and holds certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). In recognition of her professional accomplishments and impact on the field of aesthetic medicine, she was honored as the 2025 Alumni of the Year by LSU Health Shreveport.
Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to advancing the physician assistant profession. Since 2012, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, holding multiple leadership roles including the Past President and current Treasurer. In these capacities, she has worked closely with state legislators and healthcare leaders to support policies that strengthen the PA profession, expand access to care, and empower more physician assistants to practice more effectively within the modern healthcare system.
With more than two decades of experience and over 50,000 procedures performed, Shelly Williamson Esnard’s authority is defined not only by volume, but by precision, discipline, and enduring patient confidence — built, quite literally, on 1.5 million units of experience.
