About Williamson Cosmetic Center & Perenack Aesthetic Surgery

Williamson Cosmetic Center & Perenack Aesthetic Surgery is a physician-owned cosmetic surgery and aesthetic practice serving patients throughout South Louisiana. With locations in Baton Rouge, Gonzales, and Lake Charles, the practice brings together facial cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, non-surgical aesthetic treatments, skincare, body contouring, laser procedures, and hair restoration in one established setting.

For more than 20 years, Williamson Cosmetic Center has helped patients explore surgical and non-surgical options based on their features, concerns, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals. The practice is built around the belief that cosmetic care should feel informed, personal, and approachable. Whether someone is considering a facial procedure, body surgery, injectables, skin treatments, or hair restoration, the team focuses on creating a clear plan and an experience that supports confidence from consultation through follow-up care.

Williamson Cosmetic Center is led by Dr. Jon Perenack, MD, DDS, facial cosmetic surgeon, and Shelly Williamson Esnard, PA-C, center director and practice owner. Together with Dr. Emile A. Picarella, Jr. and an experienced team of aesthetic professionals, injectors, medical aestheticians, nurses, and clinical staff, the practice offers a broad range of cosmetic services for women and men throughout Baton Rouge, Gonzales, Lake Charles, and surrounding Louisiana communities.

Dr. Jon Perenack, MD, DDS

Dr. Jon Perenack is an internationally recognized facial cosmetic surgeon and one of the leading physicians at Williamson Cosmetic Center & Perenack Aesthetic Surgery. His practice focuses on facial cosmetic surgery, facial balancing, facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, and procedures designed to improve the structure, contour, and proportion of the face and neck.

Dr. Perenack holds both medical and dental degrees, giving him an extensive background in facial anatomy, bone structure, soft tissue support, and the relationship between the face, jawline, neck, and smile. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He also completed a general surgery internship and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency through Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.

After completing residency training, Dr. Perenack pursued additional fellowship education in cosmetic surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. His advanced training has supported a career focused on the surgical and aesthetic treatment of the face, neck, jawline, eyes, nose, ears, lips, and hairline.

Dr. Perenack is a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has also served in leadership and educational roles within oral and maxillofacial surgery, including serving as President of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and as Director of the Residency Program in the Louisiana State University Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

His approach to cosmetic surgery centers on thoughtful planning, careful technique, and respect for each patient’s natural facial anatomy. Rather than applying the same treatment plan to every patient, Dr. Perenack evaluates the concerns that matter most, the degree of correction needed, skin quality, facial proportions, and the way each facial feature relates to the others. This can be particularly important for procedures involving the nose, eyelids, jawline, chin, cheeks, neck, and overall facial balance.

Patients meet with Dr. Perenack for a range of facial cosmetic concerns, including aging changes, loss of definition along the jawline, loose neck skin, facial fullness, eyelid laxity, nasal shape, lip proportions, prominent ears, facial asymmetry, hair loss, and concerns related to previous surgery or trauma. His experience allows patients to explore surgical and non-surgical options with a clear understanding of the potential benefits, limitations, and recovery involved.

Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Care in South Louisiana

Williamson Cosmetic Center provides cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatments for patients seeking care in Baton Rouge, Gonzales, Lake Charles, and nearby communities. The practice offers services across several major categories, including facial cosmetic surgery, breast and body surgery, injectables, lasers, skincare, body sculpting, and hair restoration.

The practice is designed to support patients at different stages of their aesthetic journey. Some patients may be interested in a significant surgical procedure that addresses deeper structural changes. Others may want to maintain skin quality, reduce lines and wrinkles, improve body contour, restore facial volume, reduce unwanted hair, or explore a more gradual approach to cosmetic care.

A consultation is an opportunity to discuss the areas that concern the patient, review medical history, assess anatomy, and learn which options may be appropriate. The recommended treatment may involve one procedure, a series of aesthetic treatments, or a combination of surgical and non-surgical care.

Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Face and Neck Procedures

Facial cosmetic surgery at Williamson Cosmetic Center is led by Dr. Jon Perenack and includes procedures focused on the eyes, brows, cheeks, nose, lips, ears, jawline, face, and neck. Facial surgery is not simply about changing one feature. It often involves understanding how the face works as a whole and selecting an approach that preserves balance and natural movement.

Deep Plane Facelift

A deep plane facelift is a facial rejuvenation procedure designed to address deeper structural changes in the lower face and midface. It may be considered for patients with jowls, sagging skin, loss of jawline definition, deeper folds around the mouth, cheek descent, and lower facial laxity.

Rather than relying only on skin tightening, a deep plane facelift focuses on repositioning deeper facial tissues. This can help create a more supported result through the cheeks, lower face, jawline, and areas around the mouth. During consultation, Dr. Perenack evaluates facial anatomy, skin quality, neck contour, and the degree of aging change to determine whether a deep plane facelift or another facial approach may be appropriate.

Structural Neck Lift

A structural neck lift is designed to improve neck contour, loose skin, visible muscle banding, fullness beneath the chin, and loss of definition between the jawline and neck. The neck can age differently from the face, which is why some patients benefit from a neck-focused procedure while others may need a combined facelift and neck lift.

Dr. Perenack evaluates the amount of skin laxity, muscle laxity, fat beneath the chin, jawline definition, and lower facial changes before recommending surgery. In some cases, a structural neck lift may be performed alongside a facelift to create a more balanced transition from the face to the neck.

Blepharoplasty and Eyelid Surgery

Blepharoplasty is cosmetic eyelid surgery that can address loose upper eyelid skin, under-eye bags, puffiness, lower eyelid laxity, and a tired or heavy appearance around the eyes. The eyes are often one of the first areas to show visible signs of aging, and even subtle changes can affect facial expression.

Upper blepharoplasty may be recommended when excess upper eyelid skin creates heaviness or covers the natural eyelid crease. Lower blepharoplasty can address under-eye bags, puffiness, or loose skin beneath the eyes. Dr. Perenack evaluates the eyelids in relation to the brow, cheek, and lower face to determine the most appropriate approach.

Brow Lift and Scarless Brow and Cheek Lift

A brow lift may be considered when the brows have descended, the upper eyelids appear heavy, or forehead laxity contributes to a tired expression. In some cases, brow position can be an important factor in determining whether eyelid surgery alone will provide the desired improvement.

Williamson Cosmetic Center also offers scarless brow and cheek lift options for patients seeking a more elevated appearance through the brow, upper face, or cheek area. These procedures are selected based on facial structure, skin quality, the amount of tissue descent, and the patient’s goals.

Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty

Ultrasonic rhinoplasty is a nose reshaping procedure that can address concerns involving the bridge, nasal tip, nostrils, profile, symmetry, and overall proportion of the nose. Rhinoplasty may be performed for cosmetic reasons, functional concerns, or both.

Dr. Perenack evaluates the nose in relation to the chin, lips, cheeks, eyes, and facial proportions. A rhinoplasty plan may involve reducing a dorsal hump, refining the tip, adjusting nostril shape, improving asymmetry, supporting the nasal structure, or addressing concerns from previous nasal surgery. Each rhinoplasty procedure is planned with attention to the patient’s existing anatomy and the need for a natural-appearing result.

Lip Lift

A lip lift is a surgical procedure designed to shorten the space between the upper lip and the base of the nose. This can improve the visibility of the upper lip, enhance lip shape, and create a more balanced relationship between the lips and surrounding facial features.

A lip lift may be considered by patients who feel their upper lip appears long, thin, or lacks visible tooth show when smiling. It can also be discussed by patients who want a more permanent alternative to repeated filler in the upper lip area.

Facial Implants

Facial implants can enhance structure and definition in areas such as the chin, cheeks, or jawline. They may be considered for patients with naturally limited projection, asymmetry, weak chin structure, loss of facial support, or concerns about facial balance.

Chin and cheek implants can be used as standalone procedures or combined with other facial surgeries. For example, a chin implant may be discussed during rhinoplasty planning when the chin affects profile balance. Cheek implants may be considered for patients seeking additional midface projection or structure.

Facial Fat Grafting

Facial fat grafting uses a patient’s own fat to add volume in areas affected by age-related volume loss or naturally limited facial fullness. Common treatment areas may include the cheeks, temples, under-eye area, lips, jawline, and other areas of facial hollowing.

Fat grafting may be performed alone or combined with facial surgery such as a facelift, eyelid surgery, or brow lift. It can be an option for patients who want to restore volume while also improving the contours of another area through liposuction.

Facial Liposuction and FaceTite

Facial liposuction can reduce excess fat beneath the chin, along the jawline, or in the lower face. It may be considered for patients with a double chin, limited jawline definition, fullness beneath the chin, or unwanted facial contouring concerns.

FaceTite uses radiofrequency-assisted technology to address small areas of facial and neck contouring. It may be discussed for patients who want a minimally invasive approach to tightening and contour improvement. The right option depends on the degree of skin laxity, fat volume, jawline structure, and whether surgical correction is needed.

Otoplasty

Otoplasty is cosmetic ear surgery that can reshape, reposition, or reduce the prominence of the ears. It may be performed for patients who are bothered by ears that project outward, appear asymmetrical, or have a shape they would like to improve.

Otoplasty can be performed for adults and, in appropriate situations, younger patients. The procedure is planned around ear shape, cartilage structure, symmetry, and the patient’s goals.

Breast and Body Cosmetic Surgery

In addition to facial cosmetic surgery, Williamson Cosmetic Center offers breast and body procedures for patients who want to address concerns involving the abdomen, breasts, arms, legs, waistline, or areas of unwanted fat. These procedures are designed around body proportions, skin quality, previous surgeries, pregnancy-related changes, weight fluctuations, and personal goals.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation may include procedures designed to enhance breast size, restore volume, improve shape, reduce heaviness, or address breast changes after pregnancy, weight loss, or aging. A surgical consultation allows patients to discuss concerns about size, asymmetry, breast position, skin laxity, and the desired degree of change.

Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck, also known as abdominoplasty, is a surgical procedure that can improve loose abdominal skin, weakened abdominal muscles, and stubborn fullness through the midsection. It may be considered after pregnancy, significant weight changes, or when skin laxity cannot be addressed through diet, exercise, or non-surgical body contouring alone.

Liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical body contouring procedure that removes localized areas of fat resistant to diet and exercise. Common areas include the abdomen, waistline, flanks, thighs, arms, back, chin, and other regions where excess fat affects body contour.

Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure. Instead, it is designed to improve proportion and contour in targeted areas. The consultation includes an assessment of skin quality, fat distribution, and whether liposuction alone or a combined surgical approach may be most appropriate.

BodyTite

BodyTite is a minimally invasive body contouring treatment that uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to address unwanted fat and skin laxity. It may be considered for patients who want more contour improvement than a non-surgical treatment but do not need a more extensive excisional procedure.

Arm and Leg Procedures

Arm procedures may be considered for patients who are concerned about loose upper arm skin, fullness, or changes after weight loss. Leg procedures may address contour concerns, loose skin, or localized areas of fullness. The right approach varies based on skin laxity, tissue quality, body proportions, and the patient’s goals.

Non-Surgical Aesthetic Treatments

Williamson Cosmetic Center offers a broad range of non-surgical aesthetic treatments for patients who want to maintain skin quality, address visible signs of aging, improve facial balance, reduce unwanted fat, or enhance specific facial features without undergoing surgery.

Non-surgical treatments can be used as standalone options or as part of a long-term aesthetic plan. Some treatments provide results quickly, while others build gradually over time. A consultation helps determine which treatments may fit the patient’s goals, timeline, anatomy, and desired level of correction.

Injectables and Fillers

Injectables and fillers can be used to soften dynamic lines, restore volume, improve facial contour, enhance lips, define the jawline, support the cheeks, and address facial hollowing.

Williamson Cosmetic Center offers BOTOX, JUVÉDERM, Restylane, Sculptra Aesthetic, Radiesse, and Kybella.

BOTOX

BOTOX is commonly used to reduce the appearance of expression lines such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet. It may also be used in select areas of the lower face and neck depending on the patient’s anatomy and concerns.

JUVEDERM & Restylane

JUVÉDERM and Restylane are hyaluronic acid filler collections that may be used to add volume, improve contour, soften folds, enhance lips, support the cheeks, address under-eye hollowing, and create definition in areas such as the jawline and chin.

Sculptra

Sculptra is a biostimulatory injectable that supports gradual collagen production over time. It may be considered for patients with broader facial volume loss or those who want a gradual approach to restoring structural support.

Radiesse

Radiesse is another injectable treatment that may be used for facial contouring, volume support, and skin quality concerns. In appropriate areas, it can provide structural support while supporting collagen stimulation.

Kybella

Kybella is an injectable treatment designed to reduce fat beneath the chin. It may be considered for patients with fullness under the chin who want a non-surgical option for improving jawline definition.

Laser and Energy-Based Treatments

Laser and energy-based treatments at Williamson Cosmetic Center can address concerns involving skin texture, visible discoloration, redness, unwanted hair, acne scars, skin laxity, localized fat, and overall skin quality. Each treatment is selected based on the area being treated, skin type, degree of correction needed, and whether a patient is looking for resurfacing, tightening, pigment correction, hair reduction, or body contouring.

Morpheus8 RF Microneedling

Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment that creates controlled microchannels in the skin while delivering radiofrequency energy into deeper tissue layers. It can be used to improve acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, mild skin laxity, and areas of facial or body contour concern. Morpheus8 may be used on the face, neck, jawline, abdomen, arms, thighs, and other areas where collagen remodeling and skin support are desired.

IPL Photorejuvenation

IPL photorejuvenation uses intense pulsed light to address uneven pigment, visible redness, sun-related discoloration, broken capillaries, and select vascular concerns. It can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas affected by cumulative sun exposure. Treatment plans vary based on skin tone, pigment depth, redness, and the patient’s overall skin goals.

MOXI Laser Treatment

MOXI is a fractional laser treatment used for early signs of aging, uneven skin tone, rough texture, visible sun-related changes, and general skin maintenance. It can be incorporated into a long-term skincare plan for patients who want to improve skin quality before more advanced concerns develop. MOXI may also be combined with other treatments when a broader skin rejuvenation plan is appropriate.

ResurFX Laser Resurfacing

ResurFX is a non-ablative laser treatment designed to improve fine lines, acne scars, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, and visible skin laxity. It stimulates collagen remodeling beneath the skin while leaving much of the surface intact, making it an option for patients who want gradual skin improvement with limited downtime. ResurFX can be used on the face, neck, chest, and select body areas.

Exilis Skin Tightening and Body Contouring

Exilis is an energy-based treatment that uses radiofrequency and ultrasound technology to address mild skin laxity and localized contour concerns. It may be used on the face, neck, jawline, arms, abdomen, thighs, knees, and other areas where skin appears loose or less defined. Exilis can be part of a non-surgical approach for patients who want gradual tightening and body contour improvement.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is designed to reduce unwanted hair in areas such as the face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini line, chest, back, and abdomen. The treatment targets pigment within the hair follicle to reduce future hair growth over a series of sessions. The number of treatments recommended depends on hair color, thickness, density, skin type, and the treatment area.

Laser Dark Spot Removal

Laser dark spot removal can improve the appearance of select areas of visible pigment, including age spots, sun spots, and localized discoloration. Before treatment, the skin is evaluated to determine whether a laser procedure, IPL treatment, chemical peel, skincare regimen, or another option is best suited to the concern. The recommended approach depends on pigment depth, skin tone, sun exposure history, and the area being treated.

Laser Tattoo Removal

Laser tattoo removal uses targeted laser energy to break down tattoo pigment so the body can gradually clear it over time. Most tattoos require a series of treatments, and the total number of sessions depends on pigment color, tattoo size, ink depth, location, age, and whether the tattoo was applied professionally or recreationally. A consultation helps establish realistic expectations for the removal process.

Laser Vein Removal

Laser vein removal can address visible facial veins, small vascular lesions, broken capillaries, and selected leg veins. Treatment is based on the size, location, depth, and color of the vessel being treated. Some concerns may require multiple sessions, while others may be better addressed through another vascular treatment approach.

Skin Treatments and Skincare

Professional skin treatments at Williamson Cosmetic Center include chemical peels, facials, microblading, and microneedling.

Chemical Peel

A Chemical peel uses exfoliating solutions to improve skin texture, uneven tone, fine lines, acne-related concerns, visible discoloration, and overall skin quality. The type and strength of peel are selected based on skin sensitivity, concerns, and downtime preferences.

Facials

Facials can be incorporated into an ongoing skincare plan to support cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and skin maintenance. The right facial may depend on acne, dryness, congestion, texture, sensitivity, pigment concerns, and other individual skin needs.

Microneedling

Microneedling creates controlled microchannels in the skin to encourage collagen remodeling. It may be used for acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, texture concerns, and skin quality improvement.

Microblading

Microblading is a cosmetic brow treatment that can enhance the appearance of sparse, uneven, or lightly colored brows. It can be discussed by patients seeking more definition and balance in the brow area.

Non-Surgical Body Sculpting

CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical body contouring treatment that uses controlled cooling to reduce selected areas of stubborn fat. It may be considered for patients who are close to their ideal weight but want to address localized fullness in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs, upper arms, back, or beneath the chin.

CoolTone

CoolTone is a body contouring treatment that uses electromagnetic muscle stimulation to strengthen, tone, and firm targeted muscle groups. It may be used in areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, or arms depending on the patient’s goals.

Hair Restoration

Hair restoration is an important area of care at Williamson Cosmetic Center. Hair loss can affect confidence, self-image, styling options, and the way patients feel about their appearance. The practice offers both surgical and non-surgical hair restoration options for men and women experiencing different forms of hair thinning and hair loss.

Hair loss may occur because of genetics, hormonal changes, age, stress, pregnancy, medical conditions, injury, scars, or previous surgery. A consultation includes an evaluation of the pattern of thinning, donor hair availability, scalp health, medical history, and the most appropriate treatment path.

Hair Transplants

Hair transplants at Williamson Cosmetic Center include NeoGraft follicular unit extraction and traditional strip technique follicular unit transplantation.

NeoGraft uses follicular unit extraction, also known as FUE, to remove individual follicles from a donor area, typically at the back or sides of the scalp. Those follicles are then placed into areas of thinning or hair loss. Because follicles are individually extracted, FUE does not create a long linear donor scar.

Traditional strip technique hair transplantation, also known as FUT, involves removing a narrow strip of scalp from the donor area and dividing it into individual follicular units for transplantation. FUT may be considered for patients who need a larger number of grafts in one session or have more extensive hair loss.

Hair transplant planning involves more than placing follicles in thinning areas. The surgeon must consider the hairline shape, density, direction of hair growth, future hair loss patterns, donor supply, and the patient’s long-term goals. A natural-looking result depends on careful placement and realistic planning.

PRP Hair Restoration

Platelet-rich plasma, also known as PRP, is a non-surgical treatment that uses components from a patient’s own blood. Blood is drawn and processed to concentrate platelets, then the PRP is injected into targeted areas of the scalp.

PRP hair restoration may be considered for men and women with early hair thinning, diffuse thinning, or hair loss that does not yet require surgery. It can also be used as part of a broader hair restoration plan before or after hair transplantation.

Hair Loss in Women

Women often experience hair thinning differently from men. Rather than a receding hairline, many women experience diffuse thinning across the top or back of the scalp. The right approach depends on the pattern and cause of hair loss.

Some women may benefit from PRP, topical therapies, scalp care, or hair transplant surgery depending on their donor hair availability and goals. A careful evaluation is important because female hair loss can have several possible causes.
