Dr. Doucet is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over twenty-eight years of experience. He specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery.  He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine.  After completing a General Surgery Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, he went on to the prestigious plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the University of California-Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento, California.  His love of family, food, and music led him back to Louisiana.  Dr. Doucet is proud to have raised three brilliant children in Baton Rouge who are now in the fields of medicine and engineering. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends when he is not pursuing his favorite hobby, aviation.   As in aviation, technology is always improving in cosmetic surgery.  Dr. Doucet integrates state of the art energy devices and expert surgical care to provide safe effective cosmetic enhancements of the breast and body. 

Dr. Doucet gears his practice away from high volume cases per day and believes patient safety, privacy, and care should always be a priority. Your experience will start with a personal consultation with one of his patient care coordinators who will listen to your concerns and help tailor a plan for you.  At the end of this visit, your coordinator will provide you with information about the practice, procedural prices and assist you with scheduling your evaluation with Dr. Doucet.  They will be with you every step of the way to ensure you are educated on the procedure and given the individualized attention needed for a seamless surgical experience.

Dr. Doucet continues to serve his profession as a diplomat of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.  Additionally, he is an assistant clinical professor at both LSU and Tulane University’s Plastic Surgery Fellowship Programs.
